JANUARY 2000
January 3 to 7, 2000
Margo was set free, and Georgia turned herself in for accidentally shooting Alec. Ordered by Molly to invent a reason for Abigail to hate him, Chris pretended Katie was his girlfriend and arranged for Abigail to see the two of them kissing. Carly was unnerved when she kept seeing a lawyer named Phillips who reminded her of her time in Hong Kong. Camille missed her date with Isaac when John locked her in his office to take an entrance exam. Jake grieved when he got information from one of Isaac's contacts that a woman fitting Vicky's description had been on the doomed plane.
January 10 to 14, 2000
Adam agreed to help by posing as Abigail's boyfriend when Chris was unable to stay away from Abigail. Eddie and Georgia got married and left town after the D.A. decided not to prosecute her. Tom and Margo renewed their vows, and Emily got a face full of cake from Margo after she made a scornful toast. Scared by mail from Hong Kong, Carly tried to move up the wedding date, but later agreed to let Emma hold the wedding at the farm. Andy finally learned from Denise that he was Hope's father.
January 17 to 21, 2000
Jake cheered up Lucinda when she received divorce papers from James Stenbeck. John earned the ire of his family, including Andy, when he blasted Denise's motherhood in an interview with Jake and the City Times. Isaac stole Camille's diary and made the fantasy she'd written down come to life. Chris and Abigail got locked in the library when it closed for the night. Andy got into an argument with an insecure Denise and ripped up the custody relinquishment papers.
January 24 to 28, 2000
Margo was elated to hear from Hal that she had her job back. Isaac heard about Emily's plan to do an exposé on him and gambling and threatened to harm her family if she went through with it. Henry arranged for Molly to get food poisoning from her sandwich so Katie could fill in as news anchor. Barbara agreed to design Carly's wedding dress. Denise fled Oakdale with Hope after deciding John and Andy were plotting to win custody from her.
January 31 to February 4, 2000
Andy stood by Denise when she was arrested for breaking and entering, and the two worked together to get Hope out of foster care in Peoria. Holden and Molly gave their consent to Abigail dating Chris after Molly agonized about not telling her daughter about her own affair with Chris. Molly got an incriminating conversation between Henry and Katie on tape and rushed to show it to Holden. Katie agreed to Henry's plan to preempt Molly by showing Holden the photos of Molly and Chris. On Carly's wedding day, Phillips demanded Carly leave with him for a reunion with his Hong Kong boss and stabbed Isaac in the chest.

FEBRUARY 2000
February 7 to 11, 2000
Carly fibbed to a crushed Jack that she was going to Paris and then left town with Phillips to meet up with her former Hong Kong employer. John operated on Isaac after Ben admitted to Camille that Isaac was his half-brother. Henry showed Holden the photos of Molly and Chris, forcing Molly to resign, and later stole the tape from her purse so her accusing Katie looked unwarranted. Holden returned home and found Chris asleep in bed with Abigail and threw him out, warning him he knew about the affair. Chris confessed the affair to Abigail after she planned for them to run away, and she confronted Molly.
February 14 to 18, 2000
Molly lapsed into a coma after hitting her head while chasing after Abigail. John was unable to get Lucinda to accept his marriage proposal in order to help him gain custody of Hope, and he surmised she was interested in Jake. Andy punched Chris when he learned his brother had had an affair with his ex-fiancée, Molly. Jack believed Carly had left Oakdale under duress but then got a package from her that contradicted his theory. John called his lawyer after Denise rushed Hope to the hospital for possible ingestion of cold pills.
February 21 to 25, 2000
Lily met Simon, the owner of the love letters. Abigail got off her flight to Saudi Arabia and decided to stay in New York, where she was promptly robbed. Abigail later got help from Bryant, who was actually Lucinda's grandson and on his way to Oakdale. Chris followed Jennifer to New York and watched as the two friends reunited. Denise overheard there was evidence that she had once been a hooker and told Andy she agreed with his suggestion that they get married as a means of keeping custody of Hope.
February 28 to March 3, 2000
Andy and Denise's marriage helped them gain custody of Hope, but Ben was crushed to hear Denise was already married. Henry invented death threats against Katie to get Holden away from Lily. Jake and Lucinda headed to New York to find her grandson Bryant after his impostor arrived in Oakdale. Abigail discovered Chris had been in New York, following her and watching over her. Lily gave Simon a key to the house, unaware he had already broken in and ransacked her desk.

MARCH 2000
March 6 to 10, 2000
Jack and Julia pretended they had reunited in order to stop the matchmakers. Isaac moved out of Camille's apartment after she went to the opera with John. At Lily's urging, Simon moved into Cal's house and later broke into her safe to look through her jewelry. Katie betrayed Chris's confidence by telling Holden that Abigail was in New York. Lucinda and Jake set up a fake music trivia game that lured in Bryant, and he agreed to return to Oakdale with his grandmother after she threatened to cut off his trust fund.
March 13 to 17, 2000
Denise was hospitalized, and Ben took care of her. Abigail returned to Oakdale with Holden, and Lily decided to enlist Bryant's aid in keeping Abigail's mind off Chris. Simon painted a portrait of Lily for Holden's birthday and tried to get her to put on the necklace he was looking for. Jake met his sister-in-law Marley in New York, and she comforted him about losing Vicky. Chris learned from Jake that someone at WOAK had supplied the incriminating photos that had been sold to the tabloids.
March 20 to 24, 2000
Chris suspected Katie was behind the photos of him and Molly. Katie moved into Molly's apartment and later had an encounter with a real stalker. One of Simon's Australian references badmouthed him to Lily. Julia comforted Jack when he got a package from Carly. Chris tried to go after Katie's stalker, but Holden tackled him, believing him to be the true stalker.
March 27 to 31, 2000
Chris was arrested for stalking Katie, and the judge at his arraignment hearing denied him bail after Margo testified against him. Bryant and Lucinda made a bet that he'd be a millionaire in six months. Denise was alarmed when Andy kissed her and pleaded with Ben to give her time to get out of her marriage. When the construction site went up in flames, Lily got the children to safety, but Simon suffered burns to his hands when he tried to retrieve her family photos. Isaac vowed revenge when he had to close down the club because his liquor license hadn't been renewed.

APRIL 2000
April 3 to 7, 2000
Camille persuaded Ben to speak to the liquor license board on Isaac's behalf. Andy decided to take a dangerous photo assignment so he could afford a down payment on a house. Lily was shocked when she found Simon's photo of "Beloved." Katie's stalker, Garth Andrews, trapped her at the studio after tying up Henry. Jake, Jack, and Julia were hot on his heels after discovering Garth was the one who had sent flowers to Molly's hospital room.
April 10 to 14, 2000
Holden rescued Katie after her stalker Garth fell to her death, and Chris was released from jail. After Camille was thrown out of medical school for missing her exam, John brokered a deal to get her reinstated. Iva arrived to help Lily unravel Simon's lies. Molly suffered a seizure, but both Jake and Abigail saw signs that she was waking up from her coma. Lily dressed up like the photo of Beloved and surprised Simon.
April 17 to 21, 2000
Kim flew to Washington after learning Andy's helicopter had been shot down in Chechnya and he was feared dead. Jack and Julia agreed to try being a couple again. Simon saw a photo of "Aunt Vera" wearing his long-sought diamond necklace and later confessed to Lily that their meeting had been no accident -- he had planted the letters. Emily tried to buy the Intruder but couldn't raise the cash from either Susan or Tom. Molly awakened from her coma.
April 24 to 28, 2000
Emily arranged a prison interview with David Stenbeck. Katie headed to New York with Henry and Holden for some national exposure. Molly didn't remember the past six months, including her affair with Chris and the argument with Abigail that had led to her accident. Julia was taken hostage when Curtis helped his friend Freddie rob Al's Diner. Lily flew to Atlantic City -- with Simon hot on her heels -- and prepared to meet "Redhead" Rose D'Angelo, who was a dead ringer for Lily.

MAY 2000
May 1 to 5, 2000
Katie kissed Holden in New York. Emily met with David Stenbeck in prison and offered to help him in exchange for his money. A relieved Jack found Curtis and rushed him to the hospital. Jake realized Molly was faking her amnesia. Lily and Rose teamed up to find their connection.
May 8 to 12, 2000
Emily used David Stenbeck's money to buy the Intruder after promising to use the paper to campaign for his appeal. Jake and Molly teamed up to expose Katie by using Molly's fake amnesia as a cover. Holden told Katie he was flattered by her attraction to him, but he loved his wife. Denise signed papers that John had drawn up to have Andy declared legally dead. Lily and Simon fought over the Rose of Sharon diamond that was in Rose's headdress.
May 15 to 19, 2000
With Chris's help, Emily used the Intruder to publish damaging stories about Tom and Lisa. Jack and Julia made love. Lily and Rose switched places to protect the diamond from falling into Simon's hands, and Rose wrestled a gun away from Simon when he learned of the deception. Abigail asked Holden to let Molly return to WOAK. Denise decided to move out after Kim lit into her for petitioning to have Andy declared dead, and she and Ben were married in a quick ceremony.
May 22 to 26, 2000
Carly sent Parker a present and vowed to return to him and Jack. Jack asked Julia to move in with him. Molly returned to WOAK as Henry's assistant. Rose and Lily switched places -- Rose keeping a frustrated Holden at bay, a feverish Lily trapped in a boxcar with Simon. The Hugheses prepared for Andy's memorial service.
May 29 to June 2, 2000
A wheelchair-bound Andy stunned his family when he showed up at his own memorial service. Rose-as-Lily irritated Holden when she kept avoiding being intimate with him. After Simon helped her fever break, Lily left the boxcar for home. Emily published a lurid a story in the Intruder, detailing Lisa's life, which caused Chris to quit and Susan to throw her out of the house. Lisa's friends and family threw a party at Java Underground, celebrating her life.

JUNE 2000
June 5 to 9, 2000
After hearing part of a message from Lily, Rose assumed the worst and prepared to liquidate Lily's assets as revenge. Ben told Andy risky surgery was his only chance to reverse the paralysis. Emily balked when the judge awarded Tom joint custody of Daniel and ordered her to turn her son over. Jennifer broke up with Bryant after he refused to tell Abigail they were dating. After seeing her with Henry, a jealous Jake told Molly he cared about her.
June 12 to 16, 2000
Katie forced "Lily" to admit she was Rose. Celia forced Simon and Lily to parachute from a plane into the Atlantic Ocean. When Jack received another fax from Carly, Julia hid it from him. Barbara was furious to discover that Jen had missed her chemistry final because she had been with Bryant. Rose and Katie threw a surprise birthday party for Holden.
June 19 to 23, 2000
Simon and Lily landed on a deserted island. Katie switched portraits so the one Holden opened for his birthday was a nude portrait of Lily, causing Holden to storm out. Later, Katie forced Rose into firing Henry. Denise and Ben told Andy they were going to get married, but agreed to wait until Andy recovered. Molly stole Katie's videotaped confession from Henry's briefcase.
June 26 to 30, 2000
Lily took shelter in Simon's cave on the island. Molly gave Katie's videotape to "Lily." Emily was frightened when David made it look like she was about to skip town with Daniel, infuriating Tom. Rose-as-Lily told Holden she was leaving him for Simon. Celia pointed a gun to Rose's head and demanded her diamond.

JULY 2000
July 3 to 7, 2000
Rose decided to stay in Oakdale and play the part of Holden's wife for real. Emily felt the wrath of the Hughes family after publishing an editorial urging David Stenbeck's release. Bryant learned his parents were getting divorced. Andy hid the fact he had regained feeling in his legs. A frightened Emily accepted Jake's offer of help in dealing with David.
July 10 to 14, 2000
Rose impressed Lily's loved ones. Lily and Simon remained unaware of the danger that was lurking close by. Julia found herself in a moral dilemma. Emily discovered an unexpected savior. Andy kept a secret from his family.
July 17 to 21, 2000
Holden learned Celia was Simon's sister and had her arrested. Rose later helped Celia escape from jail after Celia threatened to expose her to Holden. Craig Montgomery returned to Oakdale and ordered Bryant to go to Hong Kong with him. The police foiled a kidnapping attempt on Alison but were unable to link David Stenbeck to it. "Cooley" offered to get Simon and Lily off the island, but only if Lily slept with him.
July 24 to 28, 2000
Cooley died after Lily slipped him poison. John pursued a suspension of Ben's license after Andy took medicine to make his paralysis real, just in time for another doctor's tests. Carly met Winston's American partner -- Craig Montgomery -- and begged him for help, but he wanted something in return. At Jake's behest, Molly tricked David into confessing his role in Alison's kidnapping, and David vowed revenge on Molly and Emily. Celia told Lily that Rose was in Oakdale, pretending to be her.
July 31 to August 4, 2000
Rose bragged to Katie that Holden had made love to her. Denise took Andy home from the hospital. Abigail confronted Bryant about his lies and threatened to tell Jennifer if he didn't. Later, Bryant and Jennifer were in a car accident in which Parker was seriously injured. Julia decided to fax Carly about Parker's condition.

AUGUST 2000
August 7 to 11, 2000
Winston suffered a fatal heart attack while struggling with Carly. Simon and Lily overpowered Celia on the island. Hal arrested Bryant for reckless driving. Carly arrived in Oakdale just as Julia was confessing to Jack that Carly had been in touch before. Holden confronted "Lily" with the photos of Beloved and Rose.
August 14 to 18, 2000
Molly learned her subpoena to testify at David's trial was courtesy of David's lawyer, who expected her to testify for the defense. Jack confronted Carly at the hospital with the news of her marriage to Winston. Later, Jack asked Julia to marry him, and she accepted. After realizing there were two Lilys, Holden tricked Mitzi into revealing "Lily's" true identity -- Rose D'Angelo -- and confronted Rose with the truth after "Lily's" birthday party. Hal was furious when Craig used his influence to get Bryant's charges dropped.
August 21 to 25, 2000
Holden had Rose arrested for identity theft and informed Lucinda of the switch. Vicky's mother visited Jake and urged him to get on with his life. Hal comforted Carly after she learned of Jack and Julia's engagement. Cooley demanded money from Holden in exchange for revealing Lily's whereabouts. Rose came clean to Molly and asked her for help.
August 28 to September 1, 2000
Molly helped Rose hide the videotape from Katie. Ben agreed to take care of Curtis while Isaac searched for evidence to prove Andy was faking his paralysis. Carly went to Las Vegas to stop Jack and Julia's rushed wedding. A drunken Lily embraced Simon, who told her he loved her. With Cooley's help, Holden arrived at the island.

SEPTEMBER 2000
September 4 to 8, 2000
Carly interrupted Jack and Julia's wedding, but Jack went through with the ceremony. Holden arrived on the island and found Lily and Simon kissing; the couple returned to Oakdale, full of misgivings. Lucinda talked to Rose's father and learned she had been adopted. Jake secretly bailed Rose out of jail so she could help Molly and Abigail expose Katie. Lucinda found Lily and Simon locked in an embrace at the jail.
September 11 to 15, 2000
Katie's treachery was exposed at the Endicott Awards, leading Holden to fire her and Henry. Lily succeeded in getting the Canadian charges dropped against Simon. Lucinda took Iva to Oakdale and introduced her to Rose, theorizing that Iva might have given birth to twins and not known it. Carly's appearance spoiled newlyweds Jack and Julia's flight home from Vegas. Lily asked Simon to stay in Oakdale.
September 18 to 22, 2000
Holden moved back to the farm after agreeing to a separation from Lily. David acted as his own attorney and grilled Molly on the stand. Isaac confronted Andy with the proof that he had been faking his paralysis. Chris kissed Emily. Lily and Rose were stunned when they learned they were twin sisters.
September 25 to 29, 2000
Both Lucinda and Iva tried to convince Lily to accept Rose and get Holden to drop the charges against her. Lily decided to leave town for a bit to get her thoughts together. Simon told her that when she returned, she needed to choose between him and Holden. Rose admitted to Holden that she was in love with him, but he still refused to drop the charges against her. Isaac told Denise his theory that Andy was faking his paralysis. Although she was skeptical, she agreed to look for signs that he was right. Craig allowed Katie to stay with him. Lucinda told Bryant that he had lost their bet and needed to begin work at the City Times mailroom. Julia was horrified to receive flowers from David telling her he knew what she had done. David later visited her in the flesh and taunted her with being the person who had tipped Lowe off to Carly's whereabouts and threatened to tell Jack. Cornered, Julia helped David get out of town. Julia told Lisa what she'd done, but did not tell a suspicious Hal. Jack, however, found a bloody rag in Julia's car and got her to admit that she had helped David leave town. At that moment, Hal called to give them the news that David Stenbeck was dead.

October 2 to 6, 2000
Julia, Molly, Emily, and Denise received handwritten invitations to David's memorial service. Denise was disturbed by Andy's kiss and subsequent suggestion they go out on a date. Carly agreed to help Craig sell his microchips in exchange for part of the profits. Lily was heartened when Luc told her he had known Rose wasn't her. Rose's father, Joe, struck up a conversation with Nancy.
October 9 to 13, 2000
The women of Oakdale endured David's videotaped message at his memorial service, and Julia shot David's body in his coffin to ensure he was dead. Craig loaned Emily the money she needed to keep the Intruder from being sold as part of David's estate. When John jabbed Andy's leg with a pin, Andy jumped out of his wheelchair and said he had regained some feeling in his legs. Molly believed Vicky was haunting Jake when she heard a recording of "Beautiful Dreamer" sung by the pilot of Vicky's plane. Lily told Holden she had decided to give their marriage another chance.
October 16 to 20, 2000
Carly kissed Jack as an insecure Julia plotted to get pregnant to keep Jack from leaving her. After Kim saw Andy standing up, Andy came clean at Ben's hearing. Tom decided to return to his law practice and offered to help Craig. Molly believed Vicky was haunting her because she was with Jake, while Chris discovered Emily had a tape of the pilot singing "Beautiful Dreamer." Lily and Holden's first date ended with them skinny-dipping at the Snyder pond.
October 23 to 27, 2000
Craig planned a masquerade Halloween party so Carly could sell the microchips. Emily admitted to having the black box recording, but denied to Molly that she was behind the crank phone calls. Craig infuriated Emily, Chris, and Katie when he announced he had hired Henry to be the new managing editor of the Intruder. Camille left Oakdale for Chicago, but not before stunning John with a kiss. Holden and Lily made love, but Holden was hurt afterward when Lily insisted it didn't change anything.
October 30 to November 3, 2000
Lucinda scared Bryant, Jennifer, Adam, and Abigail when they investigated a "haunted" house. Isaac kissed Denise. Rose wore an identical costume to Lily's at Craig's party and tried to seduce Holden. Carly managed to warn Jake about the sale of the microchips, only to realize Craig was just trying to test her loyalty. Jake confronted Emily when he found her dressed exactly like a photograph of Vicky.

NOVEMBER 2000
November 6 to 10, 2000
Chris and Emily made love after Craig's party, as did Simon and Katie. Lily made plans for a romantic weekend with Simon. Andy walked into a bar and ordered beer. Molly consulted Vicky's mother, Donna, about being haunted by Vicky's ghost, while Jake consulted Vicky's sister, Marley. Julia learned her pregnancy test was positive, as Carly and Jack met in the boathouse.
November 13 to 17, 2000
Molly was haunted by her "visit" from a wheelchair-bound Vicky. Ben applied to get custody of Curtis. Simon was surprised when he confessed to Lily that he had slept with another woman and Lily was not upset. Katie suggested to Simon that they marry in order to keep him in the country. Craig gave Barbara the newspaper photo of Julia and Winston.
November 20 to 24, 2000
Andy accepted John's offer to move in with him, infuriating Kim. After Ben declared Molly's medical tests were all normal, a relieved Jake admitted to Molly that he was in love with her. Denise prepared to resign from WOAK. Isaac apologized to Denise for kissing her, and Andy later tackled him, but he mistakenly believed Andy was hurting Denise. Holden spent time with Rose and Joe.
November 27 to December 1, 2000
The residents of Oakdale celebrated Thanksgiving. Denise's old friend, Lacy, surprised Denise with a visit and suggested she join Lacy at a job teaching dance to children. After Jack got a copy of the photo, Julia confessed that the man pictured with her was Winston Lowe. Molly turned down Jake's offer to move in with him. After Lily's unsuccessful attempt to persuade the INS to drop their case against Simon, she urged Simon to run away.

December 4 to 8, 2000
Vicky left a message for Molly on her mirror. Ruby kissed Bryant and urged him to go to her for sex. Andy left for rehab in Seattle after clearing the air with John. Holden encouraged Denise to pursue her dream of starting a dance studio and suggested she hire Rose as an instructor. Rose talked to Henry about doing a story on her meeting Lily.
December 11 to 15, 2000
Simon and Katie were married, much to Lily's dismay. Isaac discovered the microchips in the earrings and showed them to Jack. At Holden's urging, Rose decided to stay in Oakdale. After learning of Tom's plans to return to law, Lisa announced she wanted to sell the Argus. Adam and Abigail found proof that Vicky had been haunting Molly.
December 18 to 22, 2000
Ruby conned Bryant into stealing $1500 from Isaac on the ruse of a priceless bracelet. Lily and Lucinda agreed to a truce for the holidays, and Lily agreed to help Rose plan a birthday party for Lucinda. Rose exulted when she received legal papers that declared her to be the firstborn. After Isaac backed out of helping the police, Hal ordered Jack to use Carly to get the evidence against Craig. Jack and Julia saw their baby on ultrasound.
December 25 to 29, 2000
Sierra and Lucy returned to Oakdale to surprise Lucinda for her birthday. Hal arrested Bryant for stealing $1500 from Isaac. Craig threatened to drop out as partner in Java Underground unless Isaac dropped the charges against his son. Ben suggested that Isaac ask Lisa to be his new partner. Curtis overheard Ben say that he considered Curtis his son and wanted to adopt him.
