Let's hope that this year will be packed with fresh and exciting stories that we have never seen before, instead of cheap, rehashed stories that are used as ratings stunts.
January 10, 2005
Spectra certainly is taking off, isn't it? Good for Thorne, but Sally needs to stick to the morning announcements and stop making life difficult for him.
January 17, 2005
Sarah Buxton is reprising her role, and it's going to be fun to see the look on Ridge's face when she shows up on his doorstep asking for a cup of sugar!
January 24, 2005
Maybe last week's attempt at comedy shows just how short the writers are on ideas. The stories have been flat, and to have an actor as good as Jack Wagner playing off a monkey was just sad.
January 31, 2005
We have had to endure baby switching, undiscovered porn tapes, drug addiction, and now this latest ill-conceived plan to get back at Ridge. What more are we supposed to stomach out of Amber?
February 7, 2005
Brooke's jaw dropping entrance into the living room at Big Bear spoke volumes, and now we know exactly how she will react to the pairing of Nick and Bridget.
February 14, 2005
Amber, start packing and get ready for the backburner, sweetheart. When writers do something so incredibly obvious to a character, it can mean only one thing...you're on your way out.
February 21, 2005
Maybe Brooke and Bridget ARE different enough that a romance with Nick could be a healthy thing, and a nice change of pace for the show.
February 28, 2005
Last week ended on a rather somber note, as Ridge decided to do what he THINKS is the right thing and tell Brooke the truth. Little does he know what's around the corner!
March 7, 2005
Ridge has gone off the deep end with everyone, and Nick has had enough. Shouldn't Nick be worried about his own dysfunctional family, instead?
March 14, 2005
Morgan DeWitt gave new meaning to the word 'crazy'. The real shame is that now that she's back, we will all have to endure more screen time with Ridge.
March 21, 2005
As if Sally hasn't had enough looney tunes on her payroll, she now wants to hire Morgan as a designer to replace the recently booted Amber.
March 28, 2005
That poor girl has no idea what she's walking into. Stephanie's accident left her without her beloved mother, and now it seems evident that she will be the newest honorary Forrester.
April 4, 2005
Last week focused largely on Helen's death and Morgan's departure from reality, making it increasingly evident that next week will be yet another Ridge-obsessed week.
April 11, 2005
It seems like the emasculation of Nick Payne Marone is going into overdrive, and it won't be long before we have Bridget leading him around by the nose.
April 18, 2005
Ridge has mysteriously chosen only one or two memories from his past to use as battering rams on his favorite half-brother Nick.
April 25, 2005
For much of the Nineties, Taylor Hayes Forrester was a staple in Ridge's life. He married her and had three children with her. Now, she seems to be back from the Great Beyond.
May 2, 2005
Doesn't it seem like just yesterday when Sheila fired the shot heard 'round the world and killed Taylor? We all saw her 'die' in Ridge's arms.
May 9, 2005
How do you act when a deceased spouse pops back onto the scene? Is there a manual or instruction booklet for that? Do you faint? Do you scream and THEN faint? Do you throw up?
May 16, 2005
Last week, the newly resurrected Taylor bonded with her wide-eyed and disbelieving children. The Doublemint Twins and Testosterone Thomas cried a river of grateful tears.
May 23, 2005
Brooke and Taylor are each making huge assumptions about what should happen now that Taylor has risen from the dead, eager to pick up where she left off. There's trouble ahead!
May 30, 2005
Will it literally take a boulder falling on Ridge's head for him to realize that he can't have TWO wives?
June 6, 2005
In Stephanie's effort to air everyone's dirty laundry, she forgot to mention the kiss that Ridge shared with Bridget, or Thomas' sexcapade with Amber.
June 13, 2005
The events of the last few weeks have shown that with writing this bad, maybe a little divine intervention wouldn't be such a bad thing.
June 20, 2005
Any self-respecting Ridge fan should be outraged that his character has become such a colossal horse's you-know-what.
June 27, 2005
Every soap needs a Taylor to counter a Brooke. Two strong female characters, one armed with a halo and the other a pitchfork, each fighting over the same men throughout the years.
July 4, 2005
Last week's shows could not have illustrated the twisted and dysfunctional mother-son bond more than watching Stephanie's manipulation of Ridge.
July 11, 2005
When Stephanie reveals that she faked her heart attack, Taylor will likely have the good sense to confront Ridge and tell him to just go back to Brooke.
July 18, 2005
There are many ways to end the Brooke-Ridge-Taylor triangle, but the common thread in each scenario is that Brooke and Taylor should both leave Ridge for good.
July 25, 2005
Nick still loves Brooke, and you'd have to be blind and deaf not to realize that, but in the never-ending quest to alienate the fan base, the writers are continuing the Bridget-Nick nonsense.
August 1, 2005
At the Forrester House of Deception, Taylor finally came out of her deep sleep last week and realized that her commitment with Ridge is probably not as secure as she thought it was.
August 8, 2005
Brooke's willingness to finally tell Ridge to go to hell, and her announcement that she wants a do-over in her life, was long overdue.
August 15, 2005
When Bridget was first introduced, we all were supposed to believe that she was a caring, perceptive, and intelligent woman who would be the future moral backbone to keep the Forresters together.
August 22, 2005
Throughout The Bold and the Beautiful's 18-year run, there have been killer snakes, rainforest kidnappings, people rising from the dead, and more unplanned pregnancies than you could shake a stick at.
August 29, 2005
Taylor is becoming a miserable wretch, and a shell of her former self. She's starting to show some wear from all of the frustration that she is going through.
September 5, 2005
We watch soaps to provide ourselves with a little escape from the sometimes dull routine of our daily lives.
September 12, 2005
Let's get this straight...Brooke and Nick love each other, but Bridget is pregnant, so Nick has to pretend that he is madly in love with Bridget, and Brooke has to shelve her feelings.
September 19, 2005
These are just some of the characters that we are looking for. Many of them have been entertaining to watch over the years, and some are now shadows of their former selves.
September 26, 2005
Nick came on the scene with a lot of fanfare and anticipation. His character had a lot going for him in the beginning, and then the writers sucked the life out of him by pairing him with Bridget.
October 3, 2005
This incessant back-and-forth that has been going on between Nick and Brooke has just become nauseating to watch.
October 10, 2005
Stephanie's back, and she's gunning for Brooke and Nick in a way that we have not seen in a long time.
October 17, 2005
Eric has been sniffing around Brooke like a dog in heat for so many years that his motivations shouldn't be that surprising anymore.
October 24, 2005
Does Eric really think that he is so alluring that Brooke will forget all about Nick in ONE night? Someone give this man a quarter...maybe he can buy a clue.
October 31, 2005
Did Thorne lose some brain cells in the last few months that he spent off screen?
November 7, 2005
Eric screwed up by giving away so much of Forrester to Brooke, and he has been a walking, talking jellyfish for most of his professional life. He is getting what he deserves.
November 14, 2005
Who locked the regular writers in a closet and took over the show? What a turnaround the last week has been!
November 21, 2005
Eric couldn't be stupid enough to think that Brooke would spend the rest of her life married to a man that she had no intention of loving.
November 28, 2005
The venom spewing from Stephanie and Eric last week was classic! It's about time that we had some sharp dialogue!
December 5, 2005
Nick arrived with an air of mystery. He was the brooding, cynical sea captain who let everyone know that he was his own man, and that he wasn't about to compromise his convictions for anyone.
December 12, 2005
The reality is that characters like Sally, Stephanie, and Eric can't be on the show forever, if for no other reason than their age and willingness to keep up the pace of filming all year.
December 19, 2005
Eric is worthless as a husband and as a father, and it was nice to hear Stephanie call him on that. She needs a new direction in her life just as much as Brooke does.
December 26, 2005
