Soap operas aren't the only forms of entertainment whose span can be measured in decades. For 60 years, fans of all ages have been entertained by the antics of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang.
Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) recently donned some vintage-inspired Snoopy gear to help celebrate Peanuts' 60th Anniversary. Seen in a top available exclusively in Heritage 1981 stores, Jones's shirt sells for $14.90 -- and a portion of the sales will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The Peanuts comic strip launched in seven newspapers on October 2, 1950. The strip has been translated into more than 20 different languages and can boast a peak readership of more than 300 million readers. Peanuts has been in reruns since the February 2000 death of its creator, Charles Schultz.
Jones made her debut on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2004. She previously appeared on The Young and the Restless from 1997 to 2001, and earned two Daytime Emmy nominations during that time.
