The folks over at The Bold and the Beautiful better start making a few more office shelves. Not only is the CBS soap in the running for several golden statuettes at the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards, it just took home the gold for Outstanding Daily Drama during this weekend's GLAAD Awards.
Short for The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAAD is an organization that recognizes and honors the media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of the LGBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer) community and the issues that affect their lives. GLAAD honored B&B for its ongoing storyline revolving around Maya's (Karla Mosley) transgender history.
"Congrats on the win!" tweeted Mosley along with a few photos of herself and the show's award.

B&B won the GLAAD award in the Outstanding Daily Drama category last year for its Maya storyline, while Days of our Lives won the award in 2015 for its wedding between Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Guy Wilson).
