With the 2020 Daytime Emmy Awards set to air Friday, June 26, on CBS, The Bold and the Beautiful is taking a look back at five episodes that propelled its stars to Emmy gold. B&B kicks off Emmy week with a full slate of throwback episodes featuring Emmy-winning performances, from Scott Clifton's (Liam Spencer) first Emmy win to Susan Flannery's (Stephanie Forrester) fourth. There is also an episode that became a historic win for Heather Tom (Katie Logan).

Monday, June 22: Episode 5893 (Original Airdate September 1, 2010)
Liam (Scott Clifton) is unhappy to learn that publishing magnate Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is the father he never knew. Hope (then played by Kim Matula) and Katie (Heather Tom) attempt to smooth things over between father and son. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and Ridge (then played by Ronn Moss) are happy to learn that Thorne (then played by Winsor Harmon) is not Liam's biological father.
Scott Clifton won the Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actor category for this episode. Clifton went on to win additional Emmys for B&B for Supporting Actor and for Lead Actor. He currently has the distinction of being the only actor to win a Daytime Emmy in all three Performer categories.
Tuesday, June 23: Episode 7613 (Original Airdate June 22, 2017)
Zende (Rome Flynn) confronts his father-in-law, Julius Avant (Obba Babatundé), over his bigotry and poor treatment of his transgender daughter, Maya (Karla Mosley), who is adopting her sister Nicole's (Reign Edwards) biological daughter, baby Lizzy. Realizing that Julius is behind Nicole having second thoughts about signing Lizzy's adoption papers, Zende convinces his wife to do what is right by reminding her that she went into the pregnancy as a willing surrogate for her sister.
Rome Flynn won the Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actor category with this episode. It was Flynn's first Emmy win.
Wednesday, June 24: Episode 3795 (Original Airdate May 13, 2002)
Stephanie schools a mortified Brooke (original cast member Katherine Kelly Lang) on how she will present herself to the media gathered at a Forrester Creations press conference after learning that Brooke is pregnant with Deacon's (Sean Kanan) child -- and he also happens to be her daughter Bridget's (then played by Jennifer Finnegan), husband.

This episode helped Susan Flannery win her third Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy. It was her fourth win overall.
Thursday, June 25: Episode 6127 (Original Airdate August 5, 2011)
After hearing from Taylor (Hunter Tylo) that Bill (Don Diamont) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are having an affair of the heart, Katie suffers a heart attack. As Brooke (Lang) barges in on Steffy's parents, Taylor and Ridge (then played by Ronn Moss), to demand that they put a stop to Steffy's plans, a very ill Katie sneaks out of her ICU room to tell Steffy that Steffy will not destroy Katie's marriage.
This episode -- for which she won in the Lead Actress category -- made Heather Tom the first performer to win an Emmy in the Younger, Supporting, and Lead categories. She remains the only female performer to have accomplished this.
Friday, June 26, 2020: Episode 7745 (Original Airdate January 2, 2018)
Confused and upset, Liam demands answers from Steffy about why she needs to take a paternity test when the baby is his. In a heart-wrenching moment, Steffy pleads with Liam not to leave her after he realizes that she slept with his father, Bill.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood earned her first Daytime Emmy with this episode. Her win came in the Outstanding Lead Actress category.
B&B's first theme week kicked off on Monday, April 27, and was dedicated to some of the soap's most luxurious location shoots. Its second theme week kicked off on Monday, May 4, and celebrated some of its most epic weddings. The show's third week began on Monday, May 11, and celebrated some of the show's best fashion moments. Its fourth week started on May 18 and was dedicated to original character Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Its fifth week of themed episodes started on May 25 and featured some of the show's most special guest stars, while its sixth week began on June 1 and featured classic rivalries. Its seventh week, which kicked off on Monday, June 8, saw a re-airing of the soap's very first episode followed by moments fans voted for. Its eighth week, which kicked off on June 15, was dedicated to fun crossover moments with its sister soap, The Young and the Restless.
