MARCH 1987
March 23 to 27, 1987
The Bold and the Beautiful debuted. The head designers at Forrester, Ridge and Eric, didn't see eye to eye when it came to the new clothing line. After consulting with Margo, Bill Spencer demanded that Ridge stop seeing Bill's virgin daughter, Caroline. To spite Bill, Ridge proposed to her instead. When Bill couldn't reason with Caroline about Ridge, Bill hired a detective to have Ridge followed. Two men attempted to abduct Brooke, and she and her police officer boyfriend, Dave, decided to use her as a decoy to catch the perpetrators. Katie fretted about her complexion, even after her mother reassured her, and she daydreamed about finding a dream guy who'd overlook it.
March 30 to April 3, 1987
Storm didn't want Dave to use Brooke in his sting operation against her attackers. Katie excitedly accepted a date from classmate Rocco, not knowing that Storm had asked Donna to arrange it. Dave wanted to marry Brooke, who seemed more fascinated with the upcoming nuptials of Ridge and Caroline. Stephanie called her estranged daughter Kristen to invite her to the wedding, but only Caroline could convince Kristen to attend. Thorne became reacquainted with Caroline and immediately fell for her. Margo felt bitter about her one-time fling with Ridge, who planned a sexy rendezvous with occasional plaything Alex Simpson. Bill had second thoughts about having Ridge followed and left a message to call off his private investigator, who caught Ridge and Alex in bed and photographed them.

APRIL 1987
April 6 to 10, 1987
Ridge's mistake with Alex caused him to realize his love for Caroline. Bill received incriminating photos of Ridge and demanded that Ridge call off the wedding. Donna convinced Rocco to see Katie again, but he seemed attracted to Donna. Brooke learned that Beth had known Eric in college.
April 13 to 17, 1987
Ridge told Thorne about his infidelity with Alex and decided to disobey Bill's order to call off his wedding to Caroline. Storm wanted Grandma Logan to move in with the Logan family. Stephanie and Kristen butted heads over Kristen's life. Brooke continued to put off answering Dave's proposal. Rocco wanted to go out with Donna instead of Katie. Just before Ridge and Caroline's wedding began, Bill told Caroline that Ridge had been unfaithful, causing her to faint as she walked down the aisle.
April 20 to 24, 1987
Caroline woke up in the hospital and shunned Ridge and Bill. Thorne pleaded Ridge's case to Caroline, to no avail, and Ridge finally told his family there would be no wedding. Brooke dragged Donna along on a harebrained adventure to get a taste of the glamorous lives of the Spencers and Forresters, and Brooke wound up befriending Caroline. Bill was heartbroken when Caroline moved out. Stephanie contemplated telling Ridge a long-kept secret. On date night for the Logans, Storm met up with Alex, and Brooke accepted Dave's engagement ring. Rocco had dinner with Katie and Donna. He plied Katie with compliments but laid a secret kiss on Donna.
April 27 to May 1, 1987
Brooke was unsure about marrying Dave. Storm jokingly suggested that Brooke get to know the Forresters before making up her mind. Katie received understanding and her first kiss from Rocco, who was retaliating against Donna for kissing her friend Mark. Ridge told Eric about cheating on Caroline and desperately tried to find her. Caroline's purse was stolen by a strange man she refused, forcing her to ask Kristen for money. Ridge followed Kristen and confronted Caroline, but Caroline turned Ridge away, determined to make it on her own.

MAY 1987
May 4 to 8, 1987
Stephanie convinced Kristen to stay in town, and Eric saw his wife in a new romantic light. Beth learned from her mother-in-law that Stephen had walked out on his family because he hadn't been able to measure up to a successful man whom Beth had loved in college. Beth was shocked to learn she had a catering job at the Forrester mansion. The police brought Caroline's purse to Bill, and later, Ridge let Bill know that Caroline was okay. As she strived to make a life for herself, Caroline shunned Ridge's attempts to reconcile their relationship. Her friendship with Thorne, however, blossomed.
May 11 to 15, 1987
Bill found Caroline and was upset that Ridge had given her an engagement ring. Later, Bill and Margo made love. Mark wanted to move in with Donna, who accused Rocco of lying about his childhood to soften up her family. Brooke got Dave to delay their wedding. Beth tried to get out of catering the Forrester dinner party, where Eric didn't recognize her; privately, Eric thought the caterer looked familiar.
May 18 to 22, 1987
Bill told Thorne that he should have met Caroline first. Stephanie blasted Bill for attempting to pit her sons against each other. Bill swiped Caroline's engagement ring and took it back to Ridge. When Caroline found out, she made Bill listen in as she accepted a date with Ridge. Caroline went on the date but warned Ridge not to get ahead of himself because she was still finding out about life. Donna lied to Beth so that Donna could attend an all-night beach party with Mark, and Donna convinced Rocco to stay at the house so Katie wouldn't be alone. Tensions flared at the Logan house when Donna got caught, and she warned Beth and Storm not to push her too far.
May 25 to 29, 1987
Stephanie overheard Margo professing her love to Eric then argued with Thorne about his spending time with Caroline; Bill encouraged Thorne to do just that. Caroline finally found a job on her own. Donna skipped a visit to Grandma Logan to see Mark, who wanted to get an apartment with her; when Donna arrived at Grandma's, she found the woman beaten and unconscious. Brooke blamed Donna. Ridge scuttled Alex's feature on Forrester Creations, but Storm encouraged her to work around him.

JUNE 1987
June 1 to 5, 1987
Brooke comforted a distraught Donna, and Helen lied to cover for Donna's late arrival to Helen's apartment the day of the robbery. It took a lot of work, but the Logan family convinced Helen to move in with them. Storm wasn't impressed when he met Mark, and Donna had second thoughts about moving out. Stephanie confronted Margo about when her last day was and learned that Margo wasn't quitting at all. Stephanie asked Eric if he wanted a divorce, but he thought that was a question he should be asking her. Ridge confronted Thorne about moving in on Caroline and ordered Thorne to stay away from her. Thorne, however, refused and announced that he loved Caroline, too.
