JANUARY 2004
January 5 to 9, 2004
Ridge angrily blamed Nick for ruining his future with Brooke. Nick, however, was able to be compassionate towards his brother. Sally pressed Stephanie for details on Brooke and Ridge. Massimo and Jackie congratulated Bridget and Oscar on their engagement. Thorne worried that Oscar was too inexperience for his new duties. Massimo told Jackie that she should no longer be friends with Eric.
January 12 to 16, 2004
Deacon lured Bridget to a private dining room where he tells Bridget that she has been his motivation to walk again. Stephanie gave Samantha sexy lingerie and told her to use it on Ridge. Meanwhile, Thomas tried to urge Ridge to pursue Samantha. Nick and Massimo were each called to Massimo's office, where Brooke phoned them to beg them to bury the hatchet.
January 19 to 23, 2004
Brooke phoned Ridge and Nick and pleaded with them via phone to make amends. Massimo became increasingly angry with Jackie and Eric's friendship. Eric was furious to learn that Bridget spent time with Deacon. Caitlin Ross was hired as a new intern at Forrester Creations. Jackie informed Eric that she was quitting her job. Massimo told Deacon to begin seeking dirt on Eric. Nick had Brooke's phone call tracked to France. Sister Madelaine urged Brooke to look insider herself to find a solution to her problems.
January 26 to 30, 2004
Deacon rummaged through Eric's desk for dirt that could be used against him. Massimo was going to drop his vendetta against Eric until he learned that Eric had a sketch of Jackie. Eric warned Massimo that he would lose Jackie if he continued to treat her poorly. Thomas admitted that he was smitten with Caitlin. Nick was inspired to write a song and dreamed of what life could be life with Brooke. Nick flew back to Los Angeles with Brooke and Hope. Once home, Brooke revealed that she can't stop thinking about Ridge.

FEBRUARY 2004
February 2 to 6, 2004
Ridge sneaked a visit with Brooke, who conceded that she wanted him as a part of her life. Samantha offered to redecorate Nick's house. Massimo vowed to make more time for Jackie. Ridge told Brooke that he would step down from Logan Designs. Jackie encouraged Nick to sign his song to Brooke. Clarke tried to talk Ridge out of giving up on Brooke or his job with Logan.
February 9 to 13, 2004
Jackie and Massimo urged Brooke to keep an open mind when deciding between Nick and Ridge. Thorne urged Eric to reflect on the good times he and Stephanie had shared. Eric realized that the face on his design model was Stephanie. Stephanie stunned Eric by revealing that she had suspected all along that Massimo had fathered Ridge, but decided to say nothing. Eric told Stephanie that he wanted to return home. Dr. Paxson tried to reach Nick and Brooke about a possible glitch that may have compromised the paternity test results. A tearful Brooke signed her annulment papers.
February 16 to 20, 2004
Stephanie and Eric reconciled and an exuberant Stephanie began to tell her loved ones of the news. Thomas begged Brooke not to sign annulment papers. Jackie phoned Brooke to find out if Brooke knew about the paternity test glitches. While on the phone with Jackie, Brooke received another call telling her that Dr. Paxton had been killed in a car crash. Brooke told Ridge of Dr. Paxton's fate, but she got into an argument with Nick before she could tell him. Brooke slipped and fell while leaving the boat.
February 23 to 27, 2004
Jackie promised Dr. Paxton that "their" secret would go to her grave. Massimo asked his sons to make peace, but Ridge refused. Brooke's son Rick told her to choose Nick. Caitlin's father expressed his dislike for rich people, which included Thomas.

MARCH 2004
March 1 to 5, 2004
Taylor paid a ghostly visit to Jackie. Deacon figured out the secret that Jackie had been keeping. Thomas learned Caitlin is a Ramirez and not a Ross like she had been claiming. Stephanie and Hector knew each other. Deacon's new label put on its first show, though Stephanie and Eric did not approve.
March 8 to 12, 2004
Deacon knows Jackie's secret. Samantha's mother comes to town. Sam mourns her dog's death which is the only thing that got her through her miscarriage. Massimo wants peace between his boys. Nick takes Brooke to an island to help her move on. Rick tries to help Amber.
March 15 to 19, 2004
Nick took Brooke away and proposed to her. When she didn't say yes, he immediately asked her to simply keep the ring. Amber's apartment caught on fire and she went back to get her wedding album where she fainted from smoke inhalation. Hector saved her and then visited her in the hospital. Jackie asked Ridge to let Brooke go, he refused and when he left, Massimo comforted his wife who was later visited by Deacon to remind her about their agreement. When Massimo refused to hire him, Deacon visited Brooke. Thomas visited Hector and believing Hector had relented he visited Caitlin to tell her the good news. When she told him she overheard their discussion, but didn't think her father has changed his mind.
March 22 to 26, 2004
After his meeting with Massimo didn't go as planned, Jackie tried to make him trust in her and the two become closer. Brooke told Stephanie of the proposal. Stephanie told Jackie of the proposal and Jackie was beside herself with joy. After being told of the proposal, Ridge burst into a business meeting and immediately began to berate his brother over the proposal. Thomas and Caitlin visited Sam and presented her with a new dog. Samantha was initially reluctant to accept the gift, but later did, naming the dog Annie. Thomas and Caitlin kissed after returning from Sam's, but were caught in the act by Hector.
March 29 to April 2, 2004
Sam hired Caitlin to work for her. Hector and Sam share a past that he'd like to forget, but she wouldn't. Nick sang Brooke another song. Deacon paid a visit to Jackie and then kissed her. Ridge threw a party for his twins, lamented Brooke's absence.

APRIL 2004
April 5 to 9, 2004
Nick sang Brooke another song while Massimo made plans for Sally to take over Brooke's place while she was on maternity leave. Sally was beside herself with happiness and rushed to Stephanie to tell her the great news. However, Brooke worried that she would soon be ousted permanently. Priscilla saw her granddaughter, Caitlin, and Hector warned her not to tell Sam the truth. Sam was to believe that the child had been abandoned by her mother. While Hector talked, no one realized that Amber was eavesdropping.
April 12 to 16, 2004
Following a panic attack, a stricken Brooke collapsed into Ridge's arms. Nick accused Ridge of being the reason for Brooke's attack. Darla accepted Thorne's proposal. James Warwick returned to town. Massimo, Jackie, Stephanie and James all cornered Brooke and demanded that she commit to Nick for the sake of her child.
April 19 to 23, 2004
As time slips away from Ridge who hurries to crash Brooke's party, Nick asks her to marry him. After thinking about it and prayers from Stephanie that she accepts, Brooke finally does accept. Shortly after, Nick sweeps her and Hope off to Hawaii and Ridge gets there moments later. Stephanie urges Ridge to let Brooke go and later send Nick and Stephanie flowers in Hawaii. When she does go home her husband pushes her for the truth and Stephanie finally relents.
April 26 to 30, 2004
Ridge still finds it hard to accept that Brooke is gone. Nick surprises Brooke with a dancing Hawaiian child. Caitlin believes her mom is dead and has horrific dreams about her. Hector agrees to go see Sam who runs from him telling him that her child is dead. Needing answers, Hector goes to see Pricilla. Caitlin tells Sam of her nightmares.

MAY 2004
May 3 to 7, 2004
In Hawaii, Brooke pulled away from Nick, saying that she was having a hard time getting over Ridge. Samantha discussed her one true love with Caitlin. Hector revealed Priscilla's deception to Stephanie. Hector told Sam that her child was still alive - and that she was Caitlin. Brooke told Ridge that she wants to try to keep their dream alive.
May 10 to 14, 2004
Caitlin gets a birthday present from her parents, but before she can fully accept it she needs answers. After getting truthful answers from her parents, they all rejoice as a family. Brooke asks Nick to marry her in a quiet ceremony and he agrees as long as the family will be there. After agreeing, she goes to tell Ridge of their decision. Feeling that he was left out of Forrester's when Thorne took over, Oz asks to join Massimo's company.
May 17 to 21, 2004
Deacon and Jackie become closer as her husband wonders where she spent the night. Nick makes a deal with Deacon that if he allows him to adopt Hope then he can see her whenever he wants. After accepting the pact, Deacon burns the report he received from the lab technician. When all arrive for a celebration on the name change, they all realize how nervous Jackie is. As everyone is leaving, Massimo calls Deacon into his study and threatens his life. Sam gives Ridge encouragement that he to can reunite with Brooke like she has reunited with her daughter.
May 24 to 28, 2004
Brooke finally tells Nick what she feels for him. Ridge eavesdrops on Nick while he receives an ominous phone call. Ridge then tries to search Nick's computer for damaging evidence against him. Caitlin invites someone new to live in her home. Deacon tells Jackie that Massimo hired him to find out who she is cheating with.
May 31 to June 4, 2004
Deacon is allowed to see his daughter again. Deacon runs a second paternity test which he states proves that Nick is the father. Brooke prepares to marry Nick as Ridge rushes to the ceremony with what he believes is proof that he's cheating on her already. However, what they both learn is that it's more damaging than that when Massimo and Nick are carted off to jail. Stephanie and Eric have another fight over Ridge and Brooke being together.

JUNE 2004
June 7 to 11, 2004
Ridge visited his father in jail and told him that he was happier being a Forrester than a Marone and was prepared to continue being a Forrester. When his biological father surprised him by telling him that he had shown he was a Marone by breaking up his brother's marriage to Brooke. Brooke told Nick she loved him and wanted to continue with the wedding plans. Darla and Thorne had their wedding rehearsal and Darla asked Sally to be her matron of honor. Sam moved in with Hector, their daughter and his adopted son. Oscar stepped up and offered to help Marone Industries while Massimo and Nick were in jail.
June 14 to 18, 2004
Thorne and Darla were married in front of their family and friends. Brooke, meanwhile, accepted Ridge's marriage proposal. Nick overheard the proposal and later called things off with Brooke in order to save face. Deacon admitted to Jackie that Ridge was the father of Brooke's baby. Brooke went into labor.
June 21 to 25, 2004
Brooke gives birth to a healthy bouncing baby boy, who she and Ridge name Ridge, Jr. Ridge and Brooke learn they are the biological parents as does the rest of the town. When Jackie told Nick, he was furious and blamed his mother. Massimo ordered Jackie to move out. Stephanie becomes angry and curses the fact that she can't seem to get rid of Brooke. Nick moved to take over Ridge's position at Forrester.
June 28 to July 2, 2004
Nick and Amber had their hearts broken, when Brooke told Nick she needed him as a friend. Amber saw how close Rick and Caitlin were getting. Hector started to warm to Thomas. Caitlin began a risky ordeal. Brooke was visited by Stephanie who had come to see her grandchildren. Brooke told Stephanie in no uncertain terms told her she would never see them again. Ridge and Thorne fought over Forrester Creations.

JULY 2004
July 5 to 9, 2004
Forrester Creations built up their teen line with a new creation called Ingénue, starring Caitlin. Caitlin and Rick grew closer and even shared a kiss. Brooke and Darla joined forces to try to heal the growing rift between the brothers they love. Brooke and Ridge decided to invite Nick and Stephanie to their wedding, but both declined. Felicia and Kristen did agree to attend the wedding. Nick reminisced about his time with Brooke and later drank his pain away at a bar, where he was joined by Stephanie.
July 12 to 16, 2004
Stephanie and Nick crash the wedding and Nick met Felicia. Yet, he backed off from her when he realized she was Ridge's sister. Massimo rejected Jackie, which caused her to turn to her young lover who was there for her with moral support. Ridge caught Rick and Caitlin kissing and warned him to back off. Amber realized she wanted Rick back and went after him.
July 19 to 23, 2004
Amber was devastated to hear that Rick had moved on with Caitlin. Rick took Caitlin to the Forrester cabin and told him of his past with Amber. Sam agrees not to tell Hector of Caitlin's and Rick's relationship. Clarke asked Darla to steal designs of Forrester designs for Sally and Darla accidentally took them and writing a birthday message for her on it she sent them to her. After decking Ridge for insulting Darla, Thorne and Ridge call a truce.
July 26 to 30, 2004
Sally reluctantly tells the Forresters that it was Darla who gave her the designs. Ridge didn't believe that Darla had accidentally sent them to her and accused her of purposely sabotaging the company. Darla believed that Thorne would side with Ridge and their company, but instead he sided with her. Ridge tried to call off the fashion show after finding out Darla gave Sally the designs. However, Rick refused - and the show went on as planned. Thomas saw Rick and Caitlin kissing and refused to walk Caitlin down the runway.

AUGUST 2004
August 2 to 6, 2004
Amber and Thomas were miffed with Caitlin and Rick's budding romance. Oscar scolded Amber and advised her to stay away from Thomas. Nick interrogated Felicia about her life, but she wasn't forthcoming with many details. A bottle of pills fell from Felicia's purse, and Nick went straight to Stephanie to tell her of his concern. Thorne talked Darla into facing his family about accidentally giving the Ingénue proofs to Sally. Thorne and Ridge got into a heated argument and decided that one of them had to leave the company. Stephanie and Eric summoned Thorne, Darla, Ridge, and Brooke to their office for their decision.
August 9 to 13, 2004
Eric stunned Brooke, Darla, Ridge and Thorne by announcing that he will step down from Forrester Creations. Ridge and Thorne refused to accept his resignation and Eric was ultimately forced to select Ridge as the new head of the fashion house. Massimo served Jackie with divorce papers. Nick phoned a doctor to find out what kind of pills Felicia has been taking. Sally offered to take Thorne under her wing. Ridge booted Amber out of the beach house. Caitlin confided in Samantha that she loves Rick. Hector proposed to Samantha.
August 16 to 20, 2004
Felicia revealed to Nick that she is suffering from colon cancer. Thomas told Hector all about Caitlin and Rick. Ridge lashed out at Rick for driving Thomas into Amber's arms. Amber tried to avoid Thomas, saying that it was for his own good. Hector accidentally struck Rick with his car.
August 23 to 27, 2004
Nick and Felicia grew closer. Felicia found out that her cancer had gone into remission. Hector was enraged when he learned that Caitlin and Rick had almost had sex. He later accidentally hit Rick with his car. Sally was sidelined by a broken leg. Thorne was named the new president of Spectra. Deacon asks Jackie to move in with him and they later made love.
August 30 to September 3, 2004
As Spectra's acting president, Thorne vowed to ruin Forrester Creations. Thorne revealed that he had a copy of Forrester's client list. Stephanie tried to talk Thorne into returning to Forrester, but he refused. Deacon was upset to learn that Massimo and Nick had forgiven Jackie. Hector tried to make amends with Caitlin. Nick and Felicia made love and Nick convinced her to tell her family about her health scare. Brooke warned Rick to be wary of Hector.

SEPTEMBER 2004
September 6 to 10, 2004
Rick told Caitlin that he wanted to have sex with her, but Caitlin pulled back because she had promised her father she wouldn't rush into anything. Eric was stunned when he learned that Felicia has been battling colon cancer. Ridge and Brooke asked for Stephanie's help in keeping Amber away from Thomas. Jackie insisted that she was in love with Massimo and committed to their marriage.
September 13 to 17, 2004
Clarke, Darla and Thorne held a meeting with Princess Guinevere regarding the Spectra's new line. In a dingy motel room, Amber and Thomas had sex for the first time, but they were interrupted briefly when a police officer arrived to serve Amber with a restraining order. Caitlin asked Rick to accompany her to the homecoming dance. Stephanie made a plea to Thorne to have him cancel the Spectra show. Jackie realized that Spectra's designs were stolen from Forrester. An angry Ridge shoved Thorne against a wall and accused his brother of stealing his designs, but Thorne denied it.
September 20 to 24, 2004
Stephanie and Eric, determined to patch things up with Thorne, asked to be forgiven for their favoritism of Ridge. Thomas and Amber continue their now intimate relationship despite the restraining order Ridge had taken out on her. Thomas threatens to marry Amber. Amber asked Brooke to give her the chance Stephanie never gave her with Ridge. Massimo bought Jackie a chain of clothing stores with plans to make Deacon vice president -- before he accidentally learned of Jackie's affair with Deacon.
September 27 to October 1, 2004
Amber left town with a little "nudge" from the law. Thomas followed her saying the restraining order is only good in L.A. Thomas let Amber know he wasn't planning to give her up. Unconscious, Massimo was rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke. Ridge went to Massimo's hospital room, telling him he regrets not spending more time with his biological Father. In an effort to stop the feuding between himself and his family, Thorne made Forrester Creations an offer to buy the company which he felt should've been his birthright in the first place.

OCTOBER 2004
October 4 to 8, 2004
Stephanie admitted again to Thorne that she and Eric had made a mistake by choosing Ridge over him to run the company. She also made a plea to Thorne to take the high road to gain respect and success. After receiving the latest stolen Forrester designs Thorne's conscience gets the best of him and he tears them up. Thorne announced he would like to hire Amber and Felicia to design alongside Clarke in hopes to create a real family business in Spectra. Brooke announced to the press she was returning to Forrester Creations, in spite of Stephanie's objections. Thomas told Ridge he and Amber had made love. Massimo was brought home from the hospital although still in a coma. Nick asked Deacon to stay at the house to monitor Massimo and look after Jackie.
October 11 to 15, 2004
Thomas and Amber went public with their relationship. Amber became a part of the Spectra Fashion family. Felicia also officially joined forces with, Thorne and Spectra. Felicia received a plea from Eric and Stephanie, as well as a demand from Ridge, to stay with her "family" and work at Forrester Creations. Deacon fully convinced himself Massimo was totally unaware of his surroundings, acted as if Massimo wasn't in the house- Deacon even drugged Jackie in front of Massimo. When Stephanie visited Massimo, he had hopes that she would see through Deacon. Stephanie saw a sign that Massimo may be regaining conscience.
October 18 to 22, 2004
During his visit with Massimo, Ridge apologized and placed his family ring back on his finger. Ridge was encouraged when he saw signs of consciousness. Stephanie took Amber to the doctor for a pregnancy test. While there, Amber and Thomas learned she was wrong about her inability to get pregnant. Stephanie offered a place for Amber to live. Felicia overheard Brooke discussing Forrester Creations' superiority over Spectra Couture. In an effort to sway Nick to order from Forrester for Jackie M, Brooke was uncomplimentary about Felicia's ability to design. After going to Thorne's office to "put an end to this," Eric heard what Thorne had really been saying all along.
October 25 to 29, 2004
On behalf of Spectra Couture, Thorne challenged Forrester Creations to a fashion showdown. As a result of the competition, Eric's eyes were opened to many of the issues that had haunted Thorne throughout his life. Although Spectra Couture did not come in first in the showdown, the new dream team (led by Thorne) gained approval and admiration by all. The greatest admiration and respect was felt by Stephanie and Eric who realized the true talent and capabilities possessed by Thorne, the son they always put second. A seed of envy was planted as Ridge watched from backstage while Eric embraced Thorne and told him how proud he was of him.

NOVEMBER 2004
November 1 to 5, 2004
Spectra celebrated the positive press generated by their show. Ridge threatened to yank Forrester's designs from Jackie M if it agreed to carry Spectra's merchandise. Rick continued his mission to break up Amber and Thomas. Amber and Stephanie collided over who was a bigger threat to their family. Deacon convinced Jackie to leave Massimo and go to dinner with him. Later, Nick walked in on Jackie and Deacon in the midst of a kiss. Felicia confided in Eric that something was going on between Jackie and Deacon. Jackie revealed that the day Massimo suffered his stroke was the same day he had learned of her relationship with Deacon.
November 8 to 12, 2004
Nick was stunned by the revelation that Jackie's affair with Deacon caused Massimo's stroke. Amber said that she wanted the Forrester women to come together, but it resulted in Stephanie and Brooke getting into another argument. Stephanie and Eric presented Thorne with a plaque at a going away party. Nick secretly had Massimo moved to another hospital without Jackie's knowledge.
November 15 to 19, 2004
Jackie learned that she owned the entire chain of Jackie M boutiques. Before leaving for Milan, Rick broke things off with Caitlin. Stephanie urged Brooke to side with Thorne, saying it would make her a true Forrester. Brooke asked Ridge to back off from the ultimatum he had issued Thorne.
November 22 to 26, 2004
Brooke asked Ridge to reconsider allowing Spectra's designs to be sold alongside of the Forrester designs. Stephanie urged Brooke to cast a vote again Ridge. Deacon escorted Jackie to the Jackie M store in Beverly Hills. Sally concocted a plan with Gladys and Clarke to have a special sale at Jackie's Beverly Hills store as a way to stick it to Forrester. Massimo underwent a special procedure to revitalize damaged brain cells with an electrical impulse.
November 29 to December 3, 2004
Ridge threatened legal action over the Forrester brand issue and devised a plan to oust his father, Eric, from the CEO position. Stephanie begged her son not to go through with his plan. Massimo was able to communicate with Nick following an experimental medical treatment. Eric asked Caitlin and Thomas to work together on a marketing campaign for Ingénue. Dressed in lingerie that Deacon gave her, Jackie and Deacon made love. Felicia told Nick that she was going to Europe to create an international division for Spectra Couture.

DECEMBER 2004

Brooke was torn when it came time to vote for who should be CEO of Forrester, but ultimately sided against her husband with a vote for Eric. Eric gave Thorne permission to have his clothes labeled "Spectra Couture by Thorne Forrester." Ridge, meanwhile, took a leave of absence from Forretser. Deacon tried to convince Nick that he truly loved Jackie. Massimo sneaked out of the hospital and hailed a taxi in order to get home, where he surprised Jackie and Deacon with his presence.
December 13 to 17, 2004
Nick and Ridge walked in on Massimo holding a gun on Deacon, though Massimo later revealed that the gun was loaded with blanks. Eric was surprised to learn that Deacon had true feelings for Jackie, as was Massimo. Massimo later forced Jackie out of his house and files for divorce. As part of the separation, Massimo let Jackie retain ownership of Jackie M, to which Jackie named Deacon the VP. Ridge felt like an oddball in both the Forrester and Marone families. Sally unveiled the new Spectra Couture By Thorne Forrester logo, but is concerned that his name is featured so prominently in the logo. Later, Sally and Clarke sneaked around to launch a marketing campaign featuring the new logo. Bridget returned home for the holidays... alone.
December 20 to 24, 2004
Bridget returned home from Copenhagen and confessed to her mother that her love life was not in the best shape. Ridge later learned that Bridget and Oscar had broken off their engagement. Nick's plan to fix up Deacon and Paige failed. Ridge declined Eric's request that he return to Forrester. The Ramirez family held a meal and toy drive to help the underprivileged. Amber learned that no one planned to spend Christmas with Stephanie and Eric. Ridge did some quick finagling and managed to have the entire Forrester and Spectra clans file into Stephanie and Eric's to celebrate the holiday together.
December 27 to 31, 2004
Jackie was caught off -guard when Deacon made an announcement. Amber was hopeful following an encounter with Ridge. Massimo plotted to have Heather enact revenge on those who had done him wrong. Thorne was encouraged by the initial sales of Spectra Couture. Ridge overheard Bridget's admission to Nick.
