Days of our Lives fans are about to get a blast from the past with a possible twist. Soap alum Réal Andrews (ex-Agent Trumbull, All My Children; ex-Marcus Taggert, General Hospital; ex-Walker Daniels, As the World Turns) is returning to the show -- but it may be as a brand new character.
The actor took to Instagram to announce that he has made a return to the 50-year-old series. "I am back," he wrote. "Thanks for all your support. Stay tune[d] for details. Thank you Jesus #soapoperas #daysofourlives #generalhospital #gh #advocare"
As longtime DAYS viewers may recall, Andrews played the character of Robert Perry in 1995. However, word on the street is that he may be taking on a completely new alter ego who will begin airing later next year.
In addition to his soap roles, Andrews has appeared on shows like Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit and Soldier of Fortune, Inc.. He's best known for his role as GH's Taggert, which he played from 1998 to 2003.
What do you think about Andrews returning to DAYS? Would you like him to play a new character or reprise Robert Perry? Do you remember anything about the character of Robert? Share your thoughts in the Comments section below, on our message boards, or by submitting Feedback.
