Something must be in the water in Soapville. General Hospital star Emme Rylan (Lulu Spencer) broke her nose earlier this week, Days of our Lives star Drake Hogestyn (John Black) suffered a serious on-set injury earlier this summer, and now comes word that DAYS' Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) hurt her foot in a Parkour exercise class.
The actress shared the news while walking the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy awards season celebration party -- in flats, which proves the injury must be quite painful because she rarely wears shoes without a high heel. "It was the first carpet I've ever done wearing flats," she said, adding that she had to call DAYS before reporting to work to alert them to her problem. "I said, ‘Hey, I need you not to give me a lot of blocking today because I'm in a lot of pain."
As for strutting the red carpet sans stilettos, Banus shares it was "a little overwhelming, but also fun."
