Guess who's going to Seattle? Days of our Lives star Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan), who booked a guest starring role on the popular primetime series Grey's Anatomy.
"It's my parents' favorite show, so they were beyond thrilled!" Lilley told Soap Opera Digest, adding that she was stoked to find out that co-executive producer Andy Reaser, who was the head writer of her episode, is from her hometown, Roanoke, Virginia. "Andy and I had a blast laughing about the fact that we went to rival high schools. It's rare to meet people from Virginia in this industry, but to be from the same hometown blew my mind!"
Lilley plays the part of Kara in the episode scheduled to air on Thursday, October 6. Says the official synopsis: "A car crash at a funeral brings a bickering family into the hospital. Back from New York, Arizona ends up caught between Alex and Andrew. While Ben takes on a new parenting role, Amelia helps Meredith and Maggie through a problem."
Lilley is scheduled to depart NBC's DAYS in the weeks to come. To read why she decided to walk away from the Salem role she's played the last three years, click here.
