The future of Days of our Lives' Jade Michaels has been up in the air since it was reported earlier this month that Paige Searcy planned to make an exit from the soap. Viewers wondered whether or not it meant the character would also be leaving the canvas or if the soap planned to recast the role. The answer has now come.
According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, actress Gabrielle Haugh has taken over for Searcy, who reportedly walked away from the role of her own accord.
Watch for the up-and-coming actress to make her DAYS debut on Tuesday, January 17.
