Now that Paulina Price has put down roots in Salem, the fictional town on Days of our Lives will never be the same again -- quite literally. The larger-than-life character has big plans for Horton Town Square that don't exactly measure up to the expectations that the town's residents have, based on everything she's told them. And there's a reason for that: she's a master manipulator.
"Paulina is a tough cookie, but she lies a lot," jokes the character's portrayer, Jackée Harry, in a chat with TV Insider.
Though Paulina isn't usually fazed by her "whatever it takes" behavior, she unexpectedly fell for Salem's upstanding mayor, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), which threw a slight wrench into her plans.
"She really cares about him, so he's the one she's most concerned about," the actress notes, adding that Paulina reached out to him in an attempt to explain her deception in an effort to salvage the connection they've forged. "She's got to come clean," the actress says, "But she's not coming all the way clean..."
In the end, it seems Paulina's Price Town project will remain first and foremost on her agenda -- no matter whose toes she runs over in the process. Harry teases that things are about to get ugly between Paulina and her friends and family, but she'll do whatever it takes to complete her project. The actress previews, "She's able to go down with the best of them and rise back up."
