Ingo Rademacher's (Jax Jacks) final on-air appearance is slated for August 28. But as Rademacher leaves, might the door be left open for the return of another well-liked character?
During Jax's final few days in Port Charles, he comes across a woman that looks eerily similar to Brenda Barrett, the love of his life who died in a car crash back in 1998. Don't get too excited just yet because the look-alike is really just that --- a dead ringer. Stefan planted the could-be twin as part of his plan to bring down Helena and frame Luke for murder.
But it's not out of the realm of possibility for Brenda to make a return appearance. Vanessa Marcil, who played Brenda for six years, is currently between acting gigs. She and Rademacher remain close friends and have even been spotted out and about the town together. It's these two factors, says a GH insider, that make it seem likely that Marcil will return -- even if it's to see Jax out of town.
Another source, however, hints that Marcil's return may be more than a short-term stint. Brenda shares a long history with Sonny Corinthos (played by Maurice Benard). Some think that, if Marcil is willing, Brenda could easily be worked back into the show and cause all sorts of troubles for Sonny and Carly (played by Sarah Brown).
