It has been a wild winter for General Hospital fans, indeed. Following the on-screen shock of Kelly Monaco's Sam tumbling down the stairs on Friday's cliffhanger episode came some equally intriguing news from the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini.
Viewers are already on high-alert with February Sweeps quickly approaching, and the ABC soap's head honcho further stirred the pot with a tweet that reads, "Huge GH news coming Next week!!! Stay tuned. #GHWildWinter"
Fans are already speculating what big news could be set to rock Port Charles, with guesses ranging from Ian Buchanan's Duke being alive and well to Kelly Thiebaud returning as Britt Westbourne. However, since it's unclear at this time whether the news is casting related or something else entirely, the sky is the limit as to what could be headed GH's way.
But there is a way fans may be able to figure out the news before it's officially announced: "Watch Monday and Tuesday for hints," Valentini teases.
