Ashley Jones is full of surprises this week. Not only did the actress stun General Hospital fans as the face of the show's previously hidden character Parker, she just revealed she recently married her boyfriend, Joel Henricks, in a private courtroom ceremony.
Jones related to Soaps In Depth magazine that "it was just one of those things that we wanted to do. I have quite a few friends who have done that. We'll have a ceremony and party later, but the actual legality [is handled]."
In addition to gaining a husband, the actress gained a child from the marriage: Henricks' young son, Huck. "I've been around a lot of children, but once it's your journey and you have a human being in front of you and you want to become his friend and a guiding force in his life, it's daunting," she admits.
Prior to landing the role of GH's Parker, Jones played The Bold and the Beautiful's Bridget Forrester. She's also known for her roles on True Blood and 90210.
