General Hospital's Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco Jones) and Kristina Wagner (Felicia Jones) may no longer be married, but there's no denying the two still share incredible chemistry on-screen, as evidenced by their recent work on Hallmark's When Calls The Heart.
Kristina appeared on last weekend's episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now and opened up about her connection to her ex-husband, to whom she was married from 1993 to 2006 and with whom she shares two children.
"I do believe there is a such a thing as chemistry," the actress shared. "I don't think it's something you can create as an actor. I do believe it's something that happens or it doesn't happen. And it was just a lucky situation that Jack and I were paired up [on GH] and there was chemistry -- on camera and off camera... And being thrown together on set in a romantic way, I think it was inevitable. I don't know how you could avoid it. You know, Jack's fun. He's an entertaining guy and engaging, and he's flamboyant and big. He's a fun person to be around."
The chemistry the former couple shared on-screen in Port Charles has been reignited now that they're working together on When Calls The Heart. Though Kristina still believes their split was for the best. "I think the divorce was the best thing that could have happened to me," she told Oprah. "And for my children, as well, because I don't think I was being a good mother at the time either. I wasn't making good choices."
Does Jack agree that parting ways after 13 years of marriage was for the best? And how does he view working with Kristina again? The actor is set to appear on Home & Family this Friday, March 11, to talk about When Calls The Heart and possibly share his side of the story of his divorce from Kristina and what it's like sharing the screen with her again. Tune in to Hallmark at 10AM ET/PT this Friday to find out!
