Soap Opera Digest reports the actor will back on-screen beginning Tuesday, December 27.
The news serves as a late Christmas present for viewers who have criticized the absence of Lucas since he married Brad (Parry Shen) earlier this year.
There's no word yet on what brings Lucas back to the canvas, but rumor has it he may be returning for Maxie's (Kirsten Storms) upcoming wedding. Stay tuned!
