Fans who have been eager to see more of Jessica Tuck on their screens won't have to wait long. The actress, who recently ended her role as General Hospital's Cassandra Pierce, will be appearing on FOX's popular medical drama The Resident.
Tuck is listed as one of the guest stars of the episode called The Flea, set to air on Tuesday, January 28. The episode will see Cain (Morris Chestnut) feeling disrespected by Logan Kim (Rob Yang) when he is left out of a major decision regarding Conrad (Matt Czuchry). Meanwhile, the doctors work together to try to save the lives of two big Red Rock donors who were involved in a jet skiing accident. Then, Irving (Tasso Feldman) and Devon (Manish Dayal) realize that three of their patients, all with different symptoms, could actually be triggered by the same thing. Also, Bell's (Bruce Greenwood) supplement company proves to be more lucrative than anyone anticipated, but an unexpected snag could put it in jeopardy.
Tuck played the role of GH's Cassandra from 2017 to 2019. She is best known to daytime fans for her role as One Life to Live's Megan Gordon, who tragically died of lupus in the early 1990s. Her other soap roles include Days of our Lives' Madeline Peterson Woods and Sunset Beach's Diane Wood.
In case you like soap opera coincidences and connections, Tuck's on-screen mom from One Life to Live, Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord), made an appearance on The Resident in early 2018. It was Slezak's first television appearance since One Life to Live aired its final episode in 2012.
