General Hospital alum T.K. Weaver spent three years playing Danny Morgan opposite some heavy hitters like Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall). The valuable experience obviously paid off, because he'll soon be appearing in a new film that stars huge Hollywood names like Denzel Washington, Frances McDorman, and Brendan Gleeson!
Weaver will be playing the role of Apparition Boy in the upcoming Joel Coen film Macbeth, which is based on the Shakespeare play of the same name that follows a Scottish lord who's convinced by a trio of witches and his wife to seize power and become the next King of Scotland. The young actor acknowledged via social media that his role in the film is small, but it's exciting nonetheless because it's such a huge project!
As for what else Weaver has been up to this year, he shared a work update via his official Instagram account that also reveals that he will be taking a break from social media for the time being.
"Been busy. Hair is still long. Working (new IMDB credit), playing football and basketball, going to the beach and of course school," he shares. "I don't care for school to be honest but the rest is fun. Miss you all!! Not on social media much anymore. Taking a little break until I get older."
Weaver played the role of GH's Danny from 2016 to 2019, at which point the character was suddenly recast, with Porter Fasullo taking over the role. Weaver addressed the casting change on Twitter at the time, writing, "I found out a couple weeks ago, but I was asked not to tell anyone. Broke my heart. I love you all so much. I love my GH family and all of you who make my day every day! You guys are the best!"
Some of Weaver's other credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Henry Danger, and Saving Flora. He can also be seen in the upcoming film New Year.
