The emotional short film To the Moon and Back, which stars General Hospital actor Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), has received a lot of attention at film festivals, but it hasn't been available for wide viewing -- until now!
The multi-award-winning film, which was written and directed by GH producer Nate Hapke, is now available to stream for free (see below). And it's definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a big fan of Zamprogna, who gives a head-turning performance in the haunting project.
The actor stars as Robert Westfield, a grieving man who finds solace in the presence of his wife and daughter in the moments before he has to deliver a eulogy for his recently deceased mother.
Daytime alum Danielle Rayne also appears in the film as Robert's wife, Judith Westfield. Soap fans may recognize the actress from her short-lived role as Alice on All My Children from 1990 until 1991 and as Lisa Tjaden on an episode of Days of our Lives in 2014. Meanwhile, Julie Romano portrays the couple's daughter, Freddi Westfield.
Hapke's To the Moon and Back was funded through a Kickstarter campaign and was filmed at a community church in North Hollywood in early 2019. At the time of the film's initial release, Zamprogna raved that Hapke was a "helluvadirector."
