The primetime soap world was stunned this week when news broke that Castle star Stana Katic will be departing the ABC series she joined in 2009. And now her longtime costar, daytime alum Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey Buchanan, One Life to Live), has shared his thoughts on her departure.
"Castle has been one of the greatest joys of my creative life, and I hope the show continues on for years to come," he tweeted. "Stana has been my partner all this time, and I thank her for creating the character of Beckett who will live on for all of us as one of the greatest police officers on television. I wish her well, and have no doubt she will succeed in everything she pursues. She will be missed."
At this time, there's no word on how Katic's departure will affect the drama series, which has thrived with her and Fillion as its main characters. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
