Remember that thriller film No Place Like Home that Soap Central reported on back in October of last year? The one that starred daytime favorites like Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera, Days of our Lives), Kelly Kruger (ex-Mackenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless), and Kristoff St. John (ex-Neil Winters, Y&R)? Well, it has finally been released -- albeit with a different name.
Netflix recently added the soap star-filled flick to its streaming service under the title Home Is Where the Killer Is, and while the title alone is enough to make it appropriate entertainment for Halloween, the storyline sounds pretty creepy, too.
Haiduk stars as Julie Thomason, who offers to rent a room to a young woman named Nicole (Kruger). Nicole is recovering from intensive medical treatment, so she happily moves into Julie's home. The two become close friends, but soon Julie turns a bond into an obsession. Can Nicole escape her lethal landlady with her life?
Viewers will have to watch Home Is Where the Killer Is to find out, as well as to see the film's other soap opera stars, including Christopher Sean (ex-Paul Narita, DAYS) as Nicole's ex, Kyle, John-Paul Lavoisier (ex-Philip Kiriakis, DAYS; ex-Rex Balsom, One Life to Live) as Benjamin, and the late Kristoff St. John as Dr. Fredericks.
