The Young and the Restless has signed another former All My Children star. Darnell Williams, who played Jesse Hubbard on the ABC soap, will be reunited on Y&R with his long-time on-screen partner, Debbi Morgan.

Major changes have been made behind-the-scenes at The Young and the Restless. The show has named a new executive producer and head writer. Jill Farren Phelps will take over as executive producer, and Josh Griffith is the new head writer. The changes mean that Maria Arena Bell, who has been serving as head writer and EP, will no longer be part or Y&R.

Maria Arena Bell is speaking out about her dismissal from The Young and the Restless. Bell, who was relieved of her duties as executive producer and head writer, indicated that she has no idea why she was let go, and accused her bosses of not telling her directly that she'd been fired.
