It wasn't that long ago that The Young and the Restless' Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott) was reported to have been bumped from contract status to recurring status at the CBS soap, and now comes word he's fully exiting Genoa City.
The Australian actor took to Twitter with a photo of himself alongside Hunter King (Summer Newman) and a farewell message that reads: "Last day in #genoacity #YR @hunterkingactress #spiritanimal"
The tweet has since been deleted.
Buchanan joined Y&R as Jack's son in February of 2015 and was bumped down to recurring status in November. He recently appeared on an episode of NCIS.
