Cue the trumpets and roll out the red carpet because The Young and the Restless is bringing Tricia Cast back to the canvas as her iconic character, Nina Webster!
EW was the first to report the news, revealing that Nina will be returning to Genoa City to check in on her son, Chance (Donny Boaz), and reunite with her best friend, Christine (Lauralee Bell).
Fans can look forward to Cast's first appearance in early November, and she is set to return again during the week of November 30 to help Y&R celebrate a super impressive milestone: its 12,000th episode!
Cast originally joined Y&R in 1986 and won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actress category in 1992 for her work on the CBS soap opera. She last appeared in 2014 when Nina attended a ceremony commemorating the one-year anniversary of the death of GC matriarch Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Fans also saw her in May and June of this year when Y&R aired a week of classic episodes dedicated to villains and a week of classic wedding episodes after COVID-19 forced the soap to halt production.
