When there are legal woes... in your neighborhood... who you gonna call? Brittany Hodges!
Writers at The Young and the Restless must be knee-deep in fictional legal issues, because the show has asked actress Lauren Woodland to come back to the canvas as the attorney she's been playing on-again, off-again since 2000.
It hasn't been long since Woodland was last seen on the CBS soap opera. She appeared in mid-November, when Theo (Tyler Johnson) met with Brittany to discuss Dina's (Marla Adams) will. Theo explained that Dina hadn't been in full control of her faculties when they'd met, and he believed that if his grandmother had been of sound mind, she would have left him more than a letter and a fountain pen that she'd bequeathed to his dad. He then inquired how he could formally contest the will -- which has since led to a full-on lawsuit against the Abbott family.
Y&R is keeping mum about what brings Brittany back to Genoa City, but if it does have anything to do with Theo's situation, it's not likely to end well. As Soap Central previously reported, Johnson announced that his time as Theo has come to an end, leading many to believe that the character will soon be exiting the CBS soap opera.
To find out which GC resident Brittany will be helping out this time around, be sure to tune in for Woodland's return to Y&R on Tuesday, December 8, and Monday, December 14.
