Two powerhouse The Young and the Restless actresses who don't share the screen in Genoa City are about to connect in a super fun way: former Y&R star Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) is set to direct current Y&R star Leigh-Ann Rose (Imani Benedict) in the film Catfish Christmas.
Rowell took to social media to share the news, adding that the 2023 holiday film will also star the "legendary" Ella Joyce and Tony Todd (ex-Gus Rogan, Y&R).

Catfish Christmas marks the second time that Rowell has directed Rose; the two also teamed up for Blackjack Christmas, which recently finished filming.
Rowell is known to daytime audiences for her 1993 to 1998 and 2003 to 2007 runs as Y&R's Drucilla. More recently, the actress created, directs and stars in The Rich and the Ruthless, which moved to BET+ last year. Some of her other directing credits include Jacqueline and Jilly, A Rich Christmas, and BET Her Presents: The Couch.
Leigh-Ann Rose joined Y&R in 2020. Her previous television credits include Love Thy Neighbor, Younger, and Famous Farrah. She has also starred in the TV films The Finest, Suburban Swingers Club, and Baking Christmas.
Tony Todd is most famous for his title role in the 1992 horror film Candyman, but he also starred as Tyler and Leslie's dad, Gus Rogan, on Y&R in 2013.
