The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) and Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) will be making a guest appearance on The Price is Right as part of the game show's ongoing commitment to pets.
The TV couple will help kick of The Price is Right's Pet Adoption Week.
"Christian and I are both proud parents of adopted pets, and we agree it's one of the most rewarding experiences ever," Bregman shares during the episode slated to air on April 24.
On Wednesday, April 26th, Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer, The Bold and the Beautiful) will highlight adorable kittens looking for a home.
Long-time TV viewers will know that in 1981, legendary emcee Bob Barker created the tagline at the end of each episode of The Price is Right, encouraging those with pets to "help control the pet population" by having their pets spayed or neutered.
Over the past four decades, during broadcasts, The Price is Right has also featured animals that are available for adoption.
The ASPCA estimates that more than six million animals end up in shelters each year. Of those animals, approximately 920,000 animals are euthanized (390,000 dogs and 530,000 cats).
With so many animals looking for "furever" homes, the "Adopt Don't Shop" movement has been growing.
Soap Central is a proud supporter of the ASPCA, and more than half a dozen of our content creators have adopted pets from shelters.
