With a successful former run as All My Children's Hayley Santos and a long-standing current run as co-host of the talk show Live with Kelly and Michael (formerly Live with Regis and Kelly) under her belt, Kelly Ripa's next move is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The actress/public persona joins Jennifer Garner, Peter Jackson, Eugenio Derbez, Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Rudd, Christoph Waltz, and a host of others who will be added or have already been added to the famous strip in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, this year.
"We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry, and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year," Maureen Schultz, Chair of the Walk of Fame selection committee for 2014-2015, said in a statement. "We look forward to welcoming all our new honorees to one of the most popular tourist attractions in California."
