Days of our Lives' Stefano DiMera went down in history as a Phoenix with innumerable lives, but the now-deceased character had just as many children as second chances in Salem. One that some viewers may have forgotten about is Megan Hathaway, played by Miranda Wilson (then Cheryl-Ann Wilson) from 1984 to 1985. And the reason we're reminding you is because the presumed-dead character just may be on her way back from the grave.
Wilson took to social media after noticing a fan poll on Soap Central calling for Megan's return, and she asked fans just how thirsty they are for Stefano's daughter to come back to Salem.
"Hey y'all! Have you seen this poll? Wanna see #MeganHathawayDiMera return?" she teased along with a link to the poll and the hashtag #BringMeganBack.

Though DAYS writers are capable of practically anything, bringing Megan back to the fold wouldn't be easy-peasy. As longtime viewers may recall, the mischievous DiMera tried conning her way into Bo's (Peter Reckell) heart and even tried electrocuting Hope (Kristian Alfonso) in a hot tub so she could have the handsome police officer all to herself. Her plan went awry, and Megan was the one who ended up dead in a hot tub, having been killed by Larry Welch.
Despite the unfortunate turn of events that led to the demise of Stefano's daughter, Wilson is positive that the powers that be could bring Megan back -- even though a lot of time has lapsed since the character's mid-80s end. When a fan commented that Megan was killed a long time ago but could be brought back by the magic of Dr. Rolf (William Utay), who managed to revive Salemites like John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Wilson joked that anything is possible on DAYS.
"Long ago, but not so far away.... When magic's at hand!" she teased.
In addition to her DAYS role, Wilson is known to soap opera fans as Capitol's Kate Wells and Santa Barbara's Sandra Mills.
