My pick is As The World Turns just because it's the critics' choice.
OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR
Since Peter Bergman's won it before, I'd pick him as a sure shot for lead actor.
OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS
I think Susan Flannery will get it because she has the most experience with the least credit to show for it.
OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR
Josh Duhamel has done so well this year. He should win this one hands down. He's had the most variety of dramatic and comedic material and showed how good he was doing both.
OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS
Maura West seems to be the sure shot in this category. If memory serves me, she's won it before, and with the type of things she's been doing this year, she's bound to do it again. [EDITOR'S NOTE: West has only been nominated one time previously. She has never won an Emmy]
OUTSTANDING YOUNGER ACTOR
It would be interesting if Brian actually won this for PC, but my guess is for Jesse McCartney. He has been nominated in this category many times, each time deserving of a win. Since this was his last year on AMC, he deserves to be honored for his achievements.
OUTSTANDING YOUNGER ACTRESS
I'm gonna have to pick Eden Riegel because the pretty much all the other ladies in this category are new to this category. One wasn't even on the show for six months before getting nominated. The only person to show Eden any threat might be Jennifer Finnigan. But my vote still goes to Eden, who should've gotten it last year.
OUTSTANDING WRITING IN A DRAMA SERIES
Since ATWT will win best series, they will also probably get best writing. They're the dolls of this category two years running.
