Ashley Jones will be reprising her role as Parker on General Hospital. The actress had been off-screen for a couple of months for maternity leave.
"Already #backtowork today! Ok, saying the inevitable... I'm 'checking back into the hospital!," Jones mused in a social media post before assuring fans it was "just #generalhospital!" Jones also captioned the photo "With @_lexiainsworth — love working [with] you!"
It's been a big year for Jones. In February, the actress announced that she had married Joel Hendricks. Then on May 24, Jones and Hendricks welcomed son Hayden into the world. Jones has also been serving as a celebrity mommy blogger for People.
Prior to landing the role of GH's Parker, Jones played The Bold and the Beautiful's Bridget Forrester. She's also known for her roles on True Blood and 90210.
With Jones already taping new material, the actress should pop up on-screen by the end of July. A first airdate has not yet been announced, though Soap Opera Digest reports that "Parker gets in the way" of Kristina's budding relationship with Aaron.
