Wyatt said that he offered her a partnership with no neuroses, no vacillation. He noted that she had to be tired of the constant disappointment and ups and downs that her relationship with Liam had offered.

Nick, the marriage officiant, shared that when he had been sanctioned to perform the marriage, he'd been reminded of the Declaration of Independence. Nick quoted that "it is self evident that all men are created equal."

Thomas opened the door and saw Caroline and Ridge kissing. Thomas said he didn't mean to interrupt, but he had some revisions for Ridge. Ridge replied that Thomas could take his time because Ridge wouldn't have time to review them. Thomas asked why, and Ridge replied that he was getting married. Thomas responded that he knew it already. "Today," Ridge added.

He was in disbelief that Pam and Charlie had left, that his best man hadn't shown up, and that not even Zende had shown up. Quinn loved Eric and didn't want him to lose his family because of her. "Don't marry me," she uttered.
