Laura Bell Bundy made her Guiding Light debut on October 14, 1999 in the role of rebellious Marah Lewis.
Laura's theater credits include Gypsy with Deborah Gibson and Betty Buckley, the national tour of The Sound of Music with Marie Osmond, and Ruthless! The Musical, for which she received nominations for the 1993 Outer Critics Circle Award and the 1993 Drama Desk Award. She appeared as Elle Woods in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde, for which she earned a Tony nomination. She also appeared in the off-Broadway production of the Taxicab Chronicles.
A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Laura has appeared in the feature films Jumanji, Life with Mikey, and The Adventures of Huck Finn, as well as the upcoming musical Camp directed by Danny DeVito. On the small screen, she has guest-starred on Home Improvement and starred in the FOX pilot Prudy and Judy.
A talented singer, Laura writes and records her own music and plays the guitar. She is also an accomplished dancer who has performed in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. Accepted by New York University at the time of her Guiding Lightaudition, Bundy has deferred enrollment for a later date.
